Bill, this image had all the makings of being exceptional, but that stem coming through the petals is distracting.
You captured the petals, pattern and colours beautifully. I like the crop and the angle ... if only it was for that darn stem :-((

I didn't understand why you not gain an award yet! I don't understand the methodology of UF! This is a very very pretty and impressive image and could gain some prominence.

Murilo, Thank you for your nice comments on my portfolio,etc. I don't know how the folks at UseFilm judge photo projects and for the life of me cannot see how some of the top images get picked. BTW...the stem doesn't bother me, not on this one anyway. Because the flower is just so gorgeous! AAWESOME detail you have captured! So nice that I had to go see what camera you used!

Bill this picture is so beautiful, very warm with excellent details. Thanks for your comments and I encourage you to move to New Hampshire, it is a beautiful state. I lived in New York for one year and all what I can say about it, it was the worst. I hope you live far away from the city.
