About Starngely enough, Mars Hill looked just as good from the bottom looking up as it did from the top looking down. So, voila?

There, a sensible 'about'! Who said I couldn't do it?!

Nice perspective Chris. This very view featured on an Air New Zealand poster a few years ago. It's an iconic rural England view. Nice work.

Regards John

Very nice Chris!

Showing off the nice area you live in (or near).
I really like this image a lot, love how you composed it and the lighting for this day looks great!

You shouldn't advertise your nice area so much, everyone will move there and it will become overpopulated and polluted! :)

Nice work,
Lori ;)

Morning Chris
And nothing is leaning in this image! :-)) Fabulous detail (you know how much I love that!) and the shrubs and spots of floral colours seem to pop.

Aw, come on Linn! The front left upright of the little porch opposite the lamp-post is definitely two degrees out of true!! :>)

Have a nice day!

Your friend in Zummerzet!

Not from where I am sitting!

You have a great day too Chris :-)

This angle looks great. I recognise this from others that you have submitted looking the other direction. As usual great work. Don.

Hi Chris, well done! A beautiful and very typical English village - well captured. As to your comment, i haven't seen the other view but i guess the most difficulty getting up to the top of the hill is getting past the pub at the bottom :)
My best wishes to you
Neil

Pedro Libório   {K:53855} 7/16/2004
absolutly lovely done!!!!
regards.

Roger Williams   {K:82679} 7/19/2004
Four-square frame and four-square perspective, all straight and shipshape. Very restful for someone like me who finds leaning verticals very distracting. The Rising Sun is a name often used by "English" style pubs in Japan, by the way. I really cannot imagine a single detail of this shot that could be improved in any way. Superb! I wish you still accepted ratings because it would be a rare "7" for me.
