About I did this image at the studio at school. I loved the way the light was hitting her face and had to capture it. And did. :)

I love the expression on her face. I just wish you would've got closer to the model. Other elements in the picture distract from the face of the model. I reframed just to give the idea.

More focused?

Stunning. Beautiful.

I would love to have seen more of the eyes though, to catch a little more of the reflection in them to show me she's alive.....

Yes, I agree. I liked the cropped image... brings you more into her face and expression.

thanks for your input.

mary theresa marie...

i like this shot a lot. a better crop would definitely help it. i've never done this before but i think you have to keep the vertical on this shot, so i took the liberty of putting my crop on it. don't take this personal because I love the shot.

Hello David,

No worries about taking it personal. I think part of the fun of usefilm is to hear other people's perspective. Michel also liked a more cropped version as well.

I appreciate you sharing your views.

The only thing that I prefer in the original image vs the vertical crop is in the vertical crop her right arm looks a bit more awkward?...

:)

Nice work. Very evocative. However your newer work shows progression in your skills. Do you think your new equipment has helped as well?
