About This was my second image using a 6x7 rangefinder camera. I used a shallow depth of field to separate the dog daisies and a limited number of poppies from the mass of red behind. I hand held a 0.6 ND grad filter in front of the lens to further highlight the foreground and to temper the bright sky. Using an ND grad with a rangefinder is challenging but in this case it produced the desired effect.

Great photo. The colour are clear and vivid. Filters are something I'm keen to start doing myself.

Wonderful colors, and I love the DOF! Great work!

Magnificent results. I've yet to try some of my old collection of rangefinders. I tried a yashica MG1 that did well, and a couple others. But the Minister D and several others are still in a box in the closet. This makes me want to drag them out! I have a large collection of 46mm filters for them too.. hmm
