The wonderful imposing tree is a great central focal point with the symmetry of the headstones around it. As if they were laid to rest joining hands around this tree and the shadow forms a square locking it all in place. I get this image that they were all children that once sang and danced here around that very tree. Beautiful image.

What an amazing illusion. That a tree could cast a shadow that appeared to be a square with straight even sides. Very clever choice of viewpoint.
