Gayle:

Thanks for viewing and commenting.

The lemur was on a tiny island and apparently was curious that morning. I was lucky to observe and photograph the casual meeting.

Besides the 2nd turtle, there was also a bird looking viewing the antics of the odd couple.

Aloha.... Luther

Thanks for the comment.

This photo opportunity was like a "street scene/people" shot.

Aloha... Luther

Maria:

Thanks for commenting.. This unusual scene is kind of like the cat and dog friends. However, the turtle and lemur is probably rare..

It appears to be an animal friendship street scene with a very high comfort level.

Aloha .... Luther

I just added you to my friends' list and hope that you will reciprocate.
Your "Odd Couple, Eye to Eye" aroused my curiosity already as a thumbnail. The turtle and the lemur seem to be exchanging important information, probably about the forthcoming meal.
Thanks for your detailed and generous comment on my "Green leaves is my only...". I suppose you know were this caption was taken from. Actually I have my ring-flash to thank for the studio-like backlight effect.
Regards,
Rafi

Oh, look how sweet! :-)) Or perhaps I'm wrong, perhaps they want to eat eachother up? Well, anyway, it's a wonderful photo, very original beautiful and well taken!

Kristina:

Thse two appear to be the best of friends. In the ten minutes that I observed them and the birds and turtles, it appears to be a ritual. At one time there were 3 turtles in view.

I was fortunate to have 6 photos to choose from for this posting.

In addition, the shot was taken just befor the HNL Zoo opened to the public, so, it was very quite...

Aloha.... Luther
