About the tower to the top left is "Castle Hill" in Huddersfield, west Yorks.

Taken during a lovely sunset on Monday from a ridge that splits Mirfield from Huddersfield.

I've cloned out a few pylons and things in the closer fields to enhance it the slightly older look I've tried to give it. Made it BW with Channel mixer, trying to give it a "taken in the 50's" feel.

But did it work?

Oh yes, it did work! Your "Ye Olde Castle" looks far away in distance as it is in time. I wish I had your expertise with all the techniques you mentioned.
Thank your for your kind analysis of my "Reflection with girl"
Regards,
Rafi

Cheers Steve, a case of Photoshop coming good here.

I think this one's a classic "boring thumbnail" photo - only 7 views :-(

Thing is, when I rotated the camera through 90 degrees I got...

Though I prefer the Castle hill shot, I bet this would have got loads more hits.

Got to suffer for your art!
