Brad, believe it or not the tummy was meant to be there as a symbol for another ideal "centre". Piazza Duomo, where I took the shot, is the main square in the baroque centre of Catania. The fisheye lens helped enchancing the idea of the main subject being somewhat on the edge of something, again ideally another way to represent a "centre". mmmm, seems like i sometimes tend to think too much... Thanks for your comments! am

a very interesting image this is...smart composition...effective b/w choice...nice title and words... :-) ...but i didn't expect the zenitar fisheye to throw so much out of focus @f4 :-P
