Hi Stephen,
I'm very fortunate to be working in Columbia, MD - about 40 minutes by car from Washington DC - and I now work for a company where I must visit one of the Federal agencies every other week or so - it's right across Indepdendence Avenue from the Smithsonian!
So now, poor me, I am forced to visit the nicest (and most photo-opportune) part of Washington DC on a regular basis :-)
