About Looks can be deceiving! This sunflower plant is only 1 foot high and the flower about 5 cm's across. I'm not sure what I did to the plant....
I under exposed the photo by 1/3 stop as the sun was bleaching out the detail.
All I've done in PS is crop some of the background out as I felt there was a bit too much on the left hand side.

Beautiful capture, Justine. I like the gradation of colors and light. Cheers, Ela

Oh I like this! Unusual colour on the petals - so beautiful.
Hope you don't mind ... I have cropped your image a bit - see if you like it? I also removed the white petal in the background and lifted the darkness on the centre.
Linn

Justine, I like the cropping, colors and framing. Nothing has to abide by established rules, be a rebel, show your emotions and vision & more than anything, have fun! Thanks for your recent comment, Cary

Great crop and lovely colours and textures.
Think I'd clone out that white patch in the middle and maybe a little burning in nearby. These are only small details but I think they'd make this a perfect image.
Regards,
Graham.

Linn, looking at your crop I prefer it to mine as it concentrates much more on the flower. I also hadn't noticed the white petal before.
Thanks for your help ;)
