About Taken in April this year ... a row of sunflowers buzzing with bees. This head was bigger than a dinnerplate.

I'd like to make a comment but I can't look at this image long enough to make a comment with out getting dizzy! :)

One week from today!! Sure hope the weather gets better... been reading a bunch about the rain and cold in cape town...

P. Christine Skinner   {K:27338} 8/9/2004
Wow Linn that is one incredible macro. That pattern could drive your eyes buggy. The deep colours are wonderful and the detail is beyond amazing.

Linn Currie   {K:24426} 8/9/2004
Hi John
See how the months have just flown by? :-)
I am glad the Cape got some rain - we have been fearing that you might not have a good show in Namaqualand due to the drought. The Cape has Winter rain fall and they have had a drought up until a couple of weeks ago.
I'm sure the weather gods will smile upon you :-) If not ... get yourself up to my city where we will have no rain, but also won't have a sea :-((

Be sure to say Goodbye before you leave!

Linn

Kristina Kohut   {K:49990} 8/29/2004
Oh I hate wasps and bees! But what a fantastic closeup! So original and really interesting! Very beautiful details and colours, superb work!

Mark Beltran   {K:32612} 9/11/2004
A very unique and creative angle. Keep it up. I like it. The green foliage at the lower left I think throws it off a little bit. I hid it with the palm of my hand, and to me it looks better removed. This is F/2.8? Amazing.
