The light is beautiful, the little girl is adorable - those cheeks and the toes (funny). I also like the textural old wall - it really gives a timeless feel. When I took dancing all the schools were run down old buildings which needed more heating and this pic has that feel to it.

I think the unhappy, pouty expression really works for this photo. It's probably a good thing she didn't like it ;) The solemn expression she has, makes her look a little like a street urchin, all dressed up in someone elses clothes. The tonal range is beautiful and warm, and I very much like the dark shadows surrounding her.

this is absolutely fabulous. that little toe is precious all curled. and the expression is perfect. your little one is so gorgeous. she's has the look of the way they made baby dolls many many years ago. modeled after little girls like yours. she's an absolute angel.

One of the few examples I've seen where a shadow on the wall behind the model is a positive. Great control of lighting.
