Once again the use of natural light is excellent. My, I dont mean to sound disrespectful to the gentleman but he sure has large ears. Lovely.

Aira Manna   {K:11201} 8/8/2004
hard to find a more honest and genuine portrait.
wonderful!

I love this, being a bartender myself. This would be a bar I could make my local. I bet he has some great bar stories that would keep me entertained 'til closing time.

Elzbieta P   {K:3033} 8/8/2004

Bea, I see here passion and love of long life through work and interaction with people, different people. Oh, to have that vitality at 80. Great work you do which 'speaks' volumes through simple images. Likewise your short, perfect profile shows me why you liked the one of my 4 year old son's 'graduation'. Thanks, Ian

So rich. I love that gentleman's face.

Andy Simmons   {K:7704} 8/9/2004
On my monitor this seems slightly inderexposed. His right ear is in darkness. But this is a wonderful shot, full of character. The bar is a perfect background of course. I'd love to stop by for a cocktail.

Bea:

A beautiful portrait of a fine looking lad. Again, a beautiful job. Keep it up.

I like your use of black/white and the square image in this and many of your other photos. The person is your subject, but when placed with their environment, it tells a story. This one is just a story that I enjoy. A good drink ) Very nice work.

Chris Rodriguez   {K:495} 8/9/2004
Nice shot! However, I'm not sure the film text on the right suits. It draws my eyes away from the beautiful photograph...

John Strazza   {K:12035} 8/9/2004

Yeah, so strong. Love it. Imagine that image with a flash or fill flash or whatsoeverflash. You would destroy everything. High speed and no flash rules!!!
Good work, Bea!

Excellent my dear Bea. this one also has to be in the project Henri.
So I see you have problems with that, You just have to choose the PROJECT and here I see you dont have it. So you choose the Project Henri and you post it!
