About What can you do when you want to photograph things but it's torrential rain....

You open your bureau, switch on a lamp and put a variety of objects from the kitchen there and shoot away.

This garlic head has been growing in my fridge for a while, I think it's trying to grow legs and escape so I put it in the confines of my pasta spoon so it couldn't run off.

Top lit, aperture pretty wide, upped the saturation a bit to get the rich red of the breau and that's about it really.

I just love the almost alien shapes of the sprouts and the spoon.

Well, Ade, your work paid off. Your "No Escape" turned a simple photo of a garlic head in a spoon into an adventure story.
Thanks for your generous comment on my "Yellow leaves".
Regards,
Rafi

Great work Ade, I hear you about the rain - flooding just north of here ... Nidd burst its banks again !!

Very creative still life, very nice color composition the muted green and red vs the strong black and white (the latter being a little burned out on my monitor). Good shot and I love your extensive comments acompanying your pictures. Regards Jorg
