Hi Lori, the title does cover most of the image, but I agree, it lacks a bit of inspiration... I could've come up with this one....;o) (although, I mighte chosen "Deep Purple"....;o)
On a more serious note, The deep tone and the sofness is awesome. Somewhat gloomy atmosphere. Well captured, and very creative....;o)

Wow! The white part looks as mystereous as the black hole in a sci-fi movie. It's beautiful, but you woudn't actually want to touch it for fear of your hand being vaporized. See how non-objective art gets your imagination going?

Excellent work on this one Lori, I'm not sure where the picture stops and the PS begins, but I really don't want to know! Great image, and it's funny how I've recieved comments from people all over the world about their visits to little old Newport, RI. Actually, it was window light. However, the window was at a good distance, not real close, making it 'harder light'. (the closer it is, the softer)

A very soft and peaceful purple. Did you use a light shinning from the bottom of the flower ? It gives a very gloomy atmosphere.

Pleased that you liked this one. It was available light, and the backside of the flower was facing the far window, and there was also a skylight above.
