Hello! I like this picture - it's very interesting, also because I live in Graz. I wonder where this carousel is... I like the movement in the picture. However, the dark tone deranges me in some way; you don't expect an amusement park carousel to have dark greys and blues and a cold, foggy atmosphere that is yet full of motion. I think that is what makes the picture special, and has a certain ambience of Graz.
I appreciate that you took the picture on "real" film. Were you in Graz on vacation?

Hello Alessandro,
Picture was taken in September 1984. I was visiting a friend in Graz and there was a fair near university hostel where I was staying. (I do remember there were tons of apples at the fair, I think it's an agricultural fair). Amusement park was part of the fair.
Anyway, I took this picture one afternoon which explains the blue color. I am sure it was brigthly lit later in the evening.

sorry for the long delay of this response...
You took the picture 20 years ago! I wasn't even born yet... Kind of funny. I don't know anything about an agricultural fair near a university hostel... In these days there is a kind of folklore-fair, but there are no apples and carousels, just corn and dances... :)
I had a look at your other pictures, I think they are great. I particularly like "Misty".
