About Just got in from 3 hours hard labour helping to dismantle a kids' camp before storing all the tents and equipment away ready for next year!! Boy, was it hard work. Manual labour!! I actually sweated!! But don't tell Mrs. S or else she'll expect me to do similar things at home and then I wouldn't have the time to come on to Usefilm!!

This shot was taken by the side of Wells Cathedral. In fact the little footbridge you see to the left connects the Vicars Close with the Cathedral itself.

Hope you like the experiment. I layered it with a textured image I'd taken of a cornfield!!

Best regards to all,

Chris

P.S. If you'd be interested in coming to a Usefilm get-together in Northampton on Saturday, October 23rd, please e-mail me at: chrisspracklen@btopenworld.com

I like this...! I see you ahve worked with layers here.. ;-) Just great! When using another background you make your photo into a certain 'mood'..imstead of showing us the place..which is nice as well..but I like the mood..or tone in your work. :-)
Hm..it's difficult to explain... but..well done!!
Hugs
Merete
PS. I would love to come to a Usfilm get-together.. ;-) perhaps when some is arranged here in Copenhagen.. ;-)

another great shot you seem to get this wonderful mood into your pieces. The sky works very well!

Wonderful picture! The layering effect does look very noticeable, maybe you can make the cornfield layer more transparent to give it a less photoshop effect. Otherwise I like the lighting and atmosphere in the pic.

Lori Stitt   {K:74437} 8/13/2004
I saw the title and knew it was yours. I like the effect, but you know ME!!

Very interesting, but it's lacking FLOWERS! Where are they? There are usually flowers around these wonderful places....

Very nice lighting and textures in this one Chris!
Well done,
Lori :)

ps...a little hard work never hurt ANYONE!! :)

Stephen Bowden   {K:64519} 8/13/2004

You have made this in to quite a spectacular scene. I find the sky very interesting. It must be the texture that I see. Don.
