About If you look closely you will see this fellow speeding along the water at a rapid pace using a parasailing kite. The winds were brisk and so was he!
See below for the flying version of his adventure...looks fun.!!

Wow beautiful shoot
congratulations

Lars Raun   {K:1701} 8/15/2004
good shot, beautiful sky, gorgeous setting with the ruin to the far right! I imagine it would be nicer in a huge format where the kitesurfer would be more visible. The extra photo you uploaded is even better I think, in terms of light and clarity.

Tim  Schumm   {K:28854} 8/15/2004
Hi Lars, Yes that is the next upload tomorrow...

John Beavin   {K:4477} 8/15/2004
Excellent action shot Tim, Looks like good fun for the younger set but I will stick to photography Even without the paraglider it is a super sunset shot.

Den Thompson   {K:30432} 8/15/2004
Amazing sunset Tim, with an element of human interest which doesn't occur too often. Like catching a bee on a flower. Another masterpiece.
Den
PS Thanks for Bow Lake comment. It's my belief I need to spend 12 months over there to see all the changes.

WOW... I've always wanted to try that out. But I'm sorry I can't help but stare at the beautiful colors in the sky, those amazing clouds, the orange that highlights the mountains. What a perfect time to go parasailing...

Jim Christensen   {K:18843} 8/15/2004

hey tim...great shot. I love how the paraglider is almost an after-thought in this photo - that the drama of the world around him/her is so powerful that they seem rather insignificant. And yet, there they are, sailing through the glory of it all! &, therefore, in some way, a small part of it. The sky is amazing & i love the texture in the water, too. Shooting directly into the sunset & capturing all that detail - amazing - man, i've got to get me one of those cameras! :O)

Craig Garland   {K:27077} 8/15/2004
Hi Tim; unusual and wonderful shot-- even w/o the para-sailor. What a great atmosphere. Thanks for your comments on my long exposure seascape. Cheers. Craig
