Hello Gertrud,
nice portrait, probably a little bit too soft. Next time (if the model agree) try to focus on the face and not on the body. In this case the face is too light.

Very sad image, she seems to be missing someone. She's finding it hard to breathe-I think it was brilliant to focus on the hand pulling down on the shirt, that is where the main emotions are displayed.

I don't know if this means anything, but your portrait work is so consistently excellent, that I find it hard to write reviews because I can't find anything to criticize and I've run out of adjectives to use. You are one of the people here who if I ever wanted portraits of me done, you'd be one of the first people I'd call.

Beautiful image, Gertrud. I agree with karen that i think having the sharpness of focus on the hand & gesture creates a deeper feeling for the piece. It makes me consider - how does that gesture resonate in the mood/expression on the subject's face? I love how the hand, the décolletage & the face all create these lovely soft triangles, leading us effortlessly from one to the other. Very sensual & lovely.

I like it very much, i beleive that's you. You're bueatiful. the only thing I dont like is the effect that some digital cameras haves on the skin. It makes the skin look plastic... I don't find the correct word. Maybe the photo taken with a fine grain film,would make the skin look better while keeping the softness, maybe ilford FP4 or Pan F plus 50.
