Great silhouette landscape ! A double exposure ? What do you mean with 1/10th and 1/3rd? regards, Peter

Chris Hunter   {K:25631} 8/17/2004
Yes, Peter - taken on a tripod, and two exposures taken - one for the bright sky, and the other for the relatively dark foreground. The two layers are stacked in Photoshop, and then a layer mask is applied to perfectly fade the two together, - the digital equivalent of a double exposure.

Good job Chris. Nice use of the tic-tac-toe composition to draw in the foreground. Only thing I could think of was getting a little lower to the ground for more foreground effect, but then you would lose the nice strip of water. Tricky location - might look even better at sunset with the trees.

Ahhh, this is very nice Chris. I must say, you sure do have a good eye!
Beautiful painting type colors. I especially like the tall grass that is near the reflection of the sun.

WELL DONE,
Lori :)
