Not only a very well composed image, but also a very strong one. The Past being represented by the structure, and probably the ancient trail, but also by the age of the man who has undoubtedly gone there a million times before, the present by the houses and the mother, and the future, ofcourse by the kids, off to school in their uniforms. That combination makes it a very powerful image. Great shot...
