About This shot was taken at 4 in the afternoon and just like clockwork, the late afternoon showers were moving in. I was stopped in bumper to bumper traffic, and lighting bolts were flashing behind these men.

I love those colors. You manage to look at these desparate and harried situations and come away with art.

Hi Glenn...yes, my bags are packed again...this time better then the last, lol. I even managed to put all my photos on cd...and they will be with me. I waited out Charley at my parents...it is a fortress...felt like I was buried in a tomb...but very, very safe. I will be thinking of you and hope we all ride Francis out safely....Gloria

Margaret Sturgess   {K:49403} 9/6/2004
Great shot, hope all is well with you, and that francis was not too bad. Have not heard any news today about it, but previously our papers were saying it could be worse than the last one.
Margaret

Thank you for your thoughts Margaret...I just returned home from being evacuated...again, lol...and found the hardest thing is going through computer withdrawal! Francis seemed much more frightening for me, at least where I am located, but this area experienced minor damage..tree limbs and road signs down, but almost all of the homes and businesses are fine. We are now keeping an eye on Ivan...it is unheard of to have so many hurricanes in such a short time, and the people here are a bit overwhelmed.
