Edge on is yet another different way of seeing the flower. This may have been harder to work with, but I think I prefer the first one for no particular reason.

Hi Emmanuel,
The black background is black fabric, (drapes actually) and there is a skylight above, and windows on two sides, so the lighting is good.
Buy a fairly large piece of black velvet and you'll use it all the time!

Superb! Hmm, at first I thought that the light falls on the drape will harm the flower, but then I realize it enhance the sharpnes and gives the sunrays effect on the background.... Wonderful! (Still, how do you know I love this kind of yellow????? :-) )
