Having lived in Jarrow for a year, I'm impressed with the beauty you found in South Shields. This is a wonderful monochrome image, just about perfect in every imaginable way. There's just enough detail in the darkened shore, the highlights in the waves really sparkle, and the clouds are three-dimensional. Phenomenal!! Full marks in my book.
