About Caught a family of deer while driving through a nearby park. I had to raise the ISO to 400 to get a hand-holdable shutter speed, so I added some more texture in Photoshop.
Thoughts?

Nice capture. Not sure about the texture although it seems to work.

Careful city boy... those things bite. They have huge fangs... and are poisonous. I know about these things.

Well, you can clearly deduce all that from the warning symbols that Mama Nature has sprinkled upon this beast. Also note the 300mm lens setting, as I dared not get too close without some cheeze or other distraction.

Una textura de lienzo curiosa

Nice, clear shot. The texture doesn't hurt this image any.

I am not very fond of the texture, I think if you are going to do somethign like that you need to make it more obvious. I am sorry, but I also find it hard to look at an animal with no legs.

Either a tighter shot isolating the head and neck, or a farther away full body shot would be nicer. IMHO of course.

excellent capture

It could use just a bit more contrast. Excellent capture. Don.

Good call, Don.
Actually, the original image DOES have more contrast, but in my attempt to add texture, the process reduced it.
