Great shot. Excellent tones and expression... gives me antique look to this picture. Perhaps you should post this under "Henri" project.

Your pictures has always had a style of it's own, this is a bit different, but the mood and tones are perfect. Impressing, like from a movie..

Good use of the depth of field, the scar on the chin and the expression are significant. I especially enjoy the processing to bring out an older feel in the photograph.
Especially like the tic-tac-toe composition, by placing the main figure in the upper 1/3 and right 2/3rds of the frame.
It's odd, but I like the woman's expression and the boy's hand at the mouth.

Very good, perhaps missing some clarity of detail to lift it up further. I've been looking at your pportfolio and very interesting it is, too. I particularly like the liquid emulsion picture of "the Angel". The brush strokes of the emulsion application can be seen clearly -- this kind of one-off uniqueness can take photography into the higher art form of painting. Wonderful. I hope this gypsy picture marks a departure from self-absorption. Your self-portraits are beautifully done and you are a beautiful woman, but there can be too much of a good thing. Rgds, Svend

I'm happy that in this photo you mentioned that these are gipsies and not hungarians. Maybe for you americans it is the same, but gipsies are gipsies regardless the country they live in and the second language they speak.
