Hi Cindi, Very good lively portrait, the genuin giggle and the hand included in the composition give it a completely natural and very happy atmosphere. Very well captured, and a perfect tonal range, very fitting with the light atmosphere of this shot. The high key background is a good choice, but I think this shot either needs a (subtle) frame, or the background needs some touching up. The slight grey shows the edges of the photo a bit too much. Blowing it out to complete white would create a stronger balance, increasing the impact, if you know what I mean.
The composition, just slightly off center, and well closed up with the guesture of the hand is excellent. Very well lit, too. Nice and soft, but with enough contrast to bring out the feautes and shapes of the face.
