I really think this is a good shot ! it reminds me of being places I usually are not at. like vacation !!
Betcha it wasn't bad in color either.

wow both color and b&w are really fantastic. but I think the b&w accentuated the mood created by the mist. great

Nice moody landscape, Tim! I thought that before I even saw which project it was in! Great in b/w!
Dave.

this photo works well in both colour & b&w but i think the b&w creates a stronger semse of the mood that the mist, especially, provokes. Beautiful & somewhat haunting, as well. Great composition, Tim - we're really led into the piece by the roundness of the shore as it fades more & more off into the distance. Great shot!

Beautiful in BW and color. I love yellow, so I'm torn between the two. Beautiful composition, Tim.

The BW lends itself to the misty, moody image. Creates a great atmosphere. As usual I also very much like the colour shot, different atmosphere but also excellent

Hi Tim; I love shooting in the fog-- everything gets soft, quiet, and a little mysterious. This is a nice composition, and I agree that B&W is a very good way to deal w/ otherwise "bluish" images (in color). Thanks for your nice comments on my sunset w/person shot. Yeah, I shoot at Sunset Bay St. Pk. a lot-- a favorite place. Cheers. Craig

Excellent mood here!

this is my third time I am comparing the color and b&w version of this picture, Tim, and I am not sure which one I like more; each of them has its own mood;
what speaks after the color version are colors (I know it is not very clever) and what speaks for b&w version is the fog which is emphasized by b&w;
anyway, whatever I choice, both versions have very good composition and I like them very much
regards
lukasz

Thanks Lukasz,
I guess i had the same feelings but in the end i felt it was a photo mainly about the fog and so i chose the B/W version for that reason.

This is stunning, your composition is perfect. Very peaceful, just wonderful in b&w. Well done~

While I find all your landscapes awe inspiring, this one speaks to my soul. So moody,and haunting, almost sad. Beautiful.
