Carmem, novamente você me deixou sem palavras!
Esta foto (leia-se: obra de arte) está irretocável, dado sua composição, enquadramento, cores (sim esta versão eu também achei melhor que a PB), riqueza de detalhes, presença de espírito e sensibilidade!
Sem dúvida é outra brilhante e grande contribuição para o projeto Henri!
Só que mais uma vez, eu me pergunto... onde estão os BIP's? Será que o pessoal do UF não está vendo isto? Será que terei que virar donor para poder fazer uma indicação, ter que pedir por pessoal olhar suas fotos?
Esta é a minha foto do dia, e vai pros meus favoritos! 7!

Hi Carmem, the haze over the glass, softening up the figure behind it adds a very strong element to this photo. For a change, there's not much to nitpick about in this shot, the tonal range, focus and contrasts as well as the composition are all very well balanced. The contrast between the smiling woman inside and the grim looking man outside create a very good tension to this shot. Well captured!

Very very well composed. Maybe it's just my monitor, but the shadows are a little too dark, giving the impression the photo was underexposed (I guess it was necessary to keep the beautiful textures on the window). A 7+ picture.

This is really beautiful, I like the composition with two interesting subjects, each of them in the right place to tell a story, very good light and colours too, the only thing that don?t convince me is that cable, maybe you could have cropped differently, anyway a very good photo. Hugs Max

Amiga: la foto como composicion es inmejorable, la expresion del hombre es excelente, pero, me parece que le falta algo de luz y las sombras en la cara del hombre hacen que no se aprecien ciertos detalles. Ahora entre el color y el B&W, creo que yo ubiera optado por una foto de color mixto, aclarandola un poco.

I think if the woman was wearing a different colour dress, the impact would have been much less. The blue makes her stand out beautifully and it compliments the reflection on the window.
The difference in facial expressions is quite pronounced. Is the really smiling though? or is that just a curious grin? Well cropped, excellent capture of the colours and textures.

I saw the photographies, it is really a nightmare ;))) I don?t have this problem in my town, but in many Italian cities it?s the same as in Brazil. Anyway, I did not mean to clone out the cable, only to do a different crop to the image, it would have told a true history also without it. Hugs Max

I see a story here Carmem. They have had a fight and he has gone outside to cool off. She waits at the window to see what he will do next. I don't see a smile on her face so much as a grimace of either fear or anxiety. His face is filled with tension, eyes reduced to a squint, his jaw clamped and the tendons in his neck are strained. Will he go back into the house before his anger dissipates. Incredible capture as it appears neither is aware of your focusing on them, excellent dramatic and tension filled scene.

Sei que sou suspeitíiiiiisimo para dizer, mas gostei mais da P&B... se fosse somente a foto da janela com a mulher, sem o cara, iria parecer umas casas que tem no interior, montanhas principalmente, com aqueles imigrantes olhando os carros que passam num dia frio (vidro embaçado)

Dear Carmem,
this is really a good one with several layers of interest. the strong framing with the front, the window and the guy, the woman looking out of the windows (but just hinted like a ghost from better times)... this is magic. strong atmosphere. I think it's okay to put the woman in the middle although this tends to delete some possible tension.
