Super abstract Ali, either that was a small hay bale or you are pretty high up ;-)

See this photo of rebecca raybons for a trantlantic view of bales

What an original take on the classic bales image. Great to see someone trying something new. The distance makes the image almost geometric.

Jon O'Brien   {K:10435} 8/29/2004
Yup - I like it. Even with the totally unnecessary frame... :-] The strong diagonals and the poor, lonely bale with its lengthening shadow make for a very striking image.

Great photo!, love the diagonal, wonder how you took it?

John,
This shot was taken from atop a tower (Hopetoun Monument, near Haddington, Scotland) looking down on the field on a very windy day.

Thanks for the comments
