What an original take on the classic bales image. Great to see someone trying something new. The distance makes the image almost geometric.

Yup - I like it. Even with the totally unnecessary frame... :-] The strong diagonals and the poor, lonely bale with its lengthening shadow make for a very striking image.

John, This shot was taken from atop a tower (Hopetoun Monument, near Haddington, Scotland) looking down on the field on a very windy day.
