Hi Michael, The almost monochromatic quality of this shot is excellent, it creates a very strong atmosphere. I also like the low camera position, making the reed stand out against the ominous sky. A pitty about the two left strands of grass, being cut off by the frame of the image. Have you considered cloning them out? I think it would balance the composition a bit more. Very well captured.
