A great portrait, a very original look. Natural lighting has been used very effectively in this case. Did you use any reflectors???? (I am interested in trying some portraits soon and appreciate any hints)A very good B+W conversion as well. Congrats.

Just beautiful in everyway Pia. I prefer natural light for portraits...just as you have done here...she seems so relaxed and free.

bis auf die sache mit der nase wirklich sehr gelungen auch das. bei diesem überzeugen mich blick und aufnahmewinkel besonders...gut, dass sie ihre halskette anbehalten hat, die linke bildhälfte wäre sonst doch ziemlich leer gewesen....

Hello Pia, usually not keen on portraits cropped off, most especially in the face, but the way you composed the image somehow works well in this case. From her shoulder lower left of frame to the bridge of the nose on the upper right is what stands out in this high contrast image, with that said the density is simply excellent. I love this pic. But if you dont mind., i have 1 question only. Why you choose to burn all the dark side? I guess if you dodging some part of her shoulder will give any dimention of this picture. Of course, this dodging and burning topic only if you did that in adobe photoshop. Forgive me for my rudeness before.
