I like this a lot but I'm not sure entirely why. Good tonal range for a b/w except in upper right. However that dark area keeps your eye within the photo. Moving from dark to contrasting area to pleasing middle greys at the bottom is very easy on the eye and the square with the cross makes a good common theme through the eyes movement top to bottom. The horizontal line creates classic thirds and a square image above while not hindering the movement. Lastly, the organic shapes around the upper "box with cross" break up the man-made linear shapes. Maybe I do know why I like it. 8)
Of all your photos, perhaps this one reminds me most of London, which I miss a great deal at the moment. I used to walk along the canal in Camden and take photos under the bridges when I was first coming back to life after being in alcohol exile... this speaks to a deep place inside of me...
