About I was driving home today, back from Anapolis on some errands, when I passed by a local Mexican restaurant. I always liked the bold colors of its painted stucco walls. I did a U-turn at the next intersections and doubled back to see what I could do with the colors and shapes in the bright afternoon sun.

Excellent idea . . . well executed . . . maybe slightly more crop from the bottom, but nothing wrong with it as is . . . . clouds especially striking.

love the cloud reflections, and the interplay between bright red and the blue of the sky. i probably wouldve cropped not the bottom but the top, to get that window edge out of the frame. nicely seen Steve!

you did very well with both the colors and shapes in the bright afternoon sun,Steve! i like your picture a lot,but i agree with todd that the upper edge of the window should be cropped out ;-)

Hi Todd,

Thanks to you and to the others for your kind comments and suggestions. I agree with you and Kostas about cropping the top of the window frame. Here is how I interpreted your suggestion - what do you think? In case it's not what you meant, feel free to take virtual scissors in hand and post your own version :-)

Best regards,
SteveR

Thanks, Todd!

That's what I was imagining you meant - my cropped version was the same (in fact, you can see it at http://www.imaginetheresanimage.com/miscimages/chevyschairwindowclouds.jpg )

Best regards,
SteveR
