When I first saw your "A little piece of nature (color version)" I thought it was the Dan. I dont remeber, however that there is such a brige on the Dan when it is still so small. Be that as it may, it is a beautiful photo. The color are great and ther composition perfect.
Thank you for your comment on my "Cellist" and as to my comments on your photos, you are welcome.
Shabbat Shalom,
Rafi

This color version is as wonderful as the black and white, Zeev, and I would have a hard time choosing between them. :) We live in a color world, and color speaks to the soul - so this brings an added dimension, I think. Well done!

Judi Liosatos   {K:34029} 9/10/2004
Now this puts in under a completely different light. I can now see the rock formation and the fantastic foliage texture in the background. I think I actually prefer it in colour. There is so much more to see. Judi

Alison DuFlon   {K:35793} 9/10/2004
Zeev, this one is also very beautiful. where as the B/W seemed to be an image frozen in time, and of isolated serenity, this one to me has a lot of movement you can almost hear the birds and the running water. Interesting what differences the same two images can portray. Alison

Howard M. Parsons   {K:3496} 9/10/2004

Jan Symank   {K:15755} 9/10/2004
PS
In this case I prefer clearly the colour version
Because the tones are more seperate (for BW I would recommend a green filter for tone seperation )
The BW is beautiful the color version perfect

Excellent image Zeev. Your shutter speed is just right to capture the movement of water without making it look unnatural. Great job!

Del Metheny   {K:25369} 9/12/2004
B&W bring out the beauty of some shots, but for nature such as this, I think I prefer the natural colors. Very nice. Del

Rebecca Raybon   {K:26655} 9/13/2004
Magnificent composition and colors. This one is even prettier than the bw version. Both are excellent!

Joann Winborn   {K:12414} 9/13/2004
I know this place!!!
I guess I didn't recognize it in b&w...
I spent a summer in the white mountains a couple of years ago. It is such a wonderful place to take a camera! You have captured it perfectly!
I can almost hear the water as it splashes on the rocks below...
Blessings to you and yours.

Zeev Scharf   {K:24818} 9/13/2004
Many thanks Rebecca for your kind remark
Best regards

Roel Macasaet   {K:681} 9/14/2004
Zeev,

I took a similar photo of a flowing water a few months back, but it didnt come out as beautiful as this! The color version, for me is better, since it gives more life to the scene, and seeing the greens makes it more refreshing..this is a postcard material....

Zeev Scharf   {K:24818} 9/14/2004
Many thanks Roel for your kind remark

Best regards

Del Metheny   {K:25369} 9/15/2004
I see other times in your photos you show the same scene for comparison. I am going to vote for the color one here. I like nature in B&W and often it may be more artistic, but when possible I like to see photos reflect what the eye can see more a modification that might be more artistic. Del

Glenn Edmiston   {K:8387} 9/16/2004
Wonderful composition here Zeev Very well done Cheers Glenn

This one looks fine. I like nature images this is excellent image.

Mark Beltran   {K:32612} 3/29/2005
I think this type of scenery lends itself well to color. It's a different approach when you introduce color; or better yet, when color approaches the scene.
