This image is only slightly underexposed, so you must know what you are doing. I was under the impression that this camera would allow you to meter in the manual mode (and then make the appropriate shutter and aperture settings. If this is not the case, then I need to have a serious chat with my photo supply store. They assured me that I could do this.

you can meter in manual mode just with AF lens, without it no possible..
from manual: Non-CPU Lenses
If a non-CPU lens is attached in mode M, --- will appear in the aperture displays in
the control panel and viewfi nder. Aperture must be adjusted manually using the lens
aperture ring, and depth-of-fi eld preview is not available. The camera exposure meter
can not be used, and exposure will not be displayed in the electronic analog exposure
display.

Ciao Antonio,
soggetto inusuale la prua della nave. Pensa che mio padre era comandante di navi ed io da bambina quando lo aspettavo in porto andavo sempre vicino alla prua a sporgermi dalla banchina per vedere se riuscivo a vedere quanto pescava....Per me la tua foto è sicuramente evocativa.

potevo anche scommettere ma ho indovinato al volo che la foto era tua..uno stile inconfondibile che determina una assoluta originalita' che ti porti appresso sempre..bello il contrasto dei colori con un taglio verticale ben piazzato..complimenti tony..ciao
