About A return to Easton for a dawn shot this time. I used a five stops of soft ND grads and two stops of hard ND grad to bring out the colour and detail in the sky then slightly underexposed the image to make the colour more intense.

great shot - the purple tones are nearly impossible to achieve with a digital - did you trick it up in PS?

Heath, no I didn't need to use PS. The S2 Pro has been designed by Fuji to give something approximating to their trademark red/purple response. I find that if I use ND grads to reduce the brightness of the sky sufficiently then this is the colour that comes out of the camera. Interestingly, if I then use levels in PS it reduces the effect so it's obviously a colour curve that's programmed into the camera by Fuji. The only processing I did on this image was to increase saturation to +30 in Camera RAW and sharpen the image.

Stunning. Such a neat skyline and such a beautiful sky.
