About Im aware the jewelry and greenish top is unfortunate, but besides those flaws, what do you think of it.. too bright/fake/cold/indifferent?

Lars, I think that you are being far too critical. It is a beautiful image. I think I like the lighting most. The jewelry and top doesn't really detract noticeably from the image. The top and jewelry has a very similar color tone that seems to blend well with the model and clothes in this lighting.

If there were anything that doesn't draw me into the image as strongly as it could, it would say it would be the model's pose. It seems quite suspicious; like someone just told her something she doesn't quite believe. Perhaps just a slight difference in the tilt of the head would give it more impact.

However, That said, I am an amateur critiquing one with far more talent. Your images are some of the most intriguing on Usefilm. I have looked though your portfolio several times after seeing a new post and each time I am impressed. Beautiful work. Robin Dunham

I agree, you are too critical. This is a great image. I like the high key effect. Her expression only adds to your great composition and handling of light. Have you tried this in b&w?

I agree that this is a near perfect image... my only problem with it is that her pose does seem just a little constrained, not quite nateral enough. But the lighting is fantastic.

Her eyes combined with the greenish glow give the girl an almost alien quality. A very intriging photo. Great work!
