About This was the old Bridge, built many years ago that connected Hartwell, Ga. and Anderson County, South Carolina. It has not been demolished, instead a new bridge has been built to accomodate todays traffic. This bridge was built in the 1930's and was very narrow.Environmentalist stste that this is a haven for fish in a river.

Chuck,

I too like the background stories that go with your photos. What I really most in this image are the diagonals. Good eye to notice to slopes from where the bridge meets the road. You had a bad sky that day, but you certainly made the most of it.

Chuck, this one has something unexplainable to me. Just as if something was going to happen soon. Nice combination of water and steel color also. And the hanging wires/branches/whatever in the foreground give it the final touch. Very, very, atmospheric!

Uups! As about color combination, add the sky and you have the complete spectre!

Thanks NICK. The day I took this pho0to there was no sky color. It is so hot in Ga. During summertime. Thanks afor all your comments.
