About While working my way up to Yellowstone from The Rocky Mountain National Park, I took the back roads and ran into a group of car buffs out for a turn about the area. I got in front of them and took some photos. this one was under exposed, so I jacked up the levels to bring the black car out of the shadows. I then removed a bunch of the blown out background and got this effect. What do you think ?

Just a touch 'noisy', perhaps, but hey, cars make noise, don't they?! ;-)
Great effect, Jim ~ I think it works extremely well! Must try it myself!
Best regards, Chris

I think it's great Jim. The slight grainy effect adds to the period timescale. Hey, is that a Brit registration plate on the front?
I like the presentation too.

Nice green car Jim.
Is it a Bentley
Dont mind the effect.
If you converted to black and white witha sepia tone it would look like it was shot in the 1930s

Fred Lord   {K:4790} 9/30/2004
Jim: Nice old Bentley! I probably would have fooled around and missed them all. Good work!

This is a great shot. What you did to enhance it is beautiful.

I have shot videos for the Bridgehampton Sportscar Rally on Long Island and if you want a great photo op - it takes place every October.

Or if anyone is interested in more vintage cars go to the website of the Bridgehampton Historical Society: bridgehamptonrally.org/ for some fun. Their entries often include Bentleys, Cords, Bugatis, Mercers, Mercedes Benz, Ford Roadsters and sometimes a Lagonda Rapide.

Regards, Bill
