About Took this image by risking my camera which was barely above the surface of the water. Liked the perspective, almost like being in the water and also tried different focus experiments.

Actual Shutter: 1/20
exposure comp: -1

PS work: minor cropping

Camera angle is absolutely AWESOME!!
Don't know if I would have risked my camera though! But then again, when I see something I want to photograph I will go to amazing lengths to get it!! :)

Nice image Paul.

Beautifully composed image. The perspective is great.

I like the sacrifice - re the camera- which was worth it as this is a very powerful image of a waterfall - which COULD be a British one!

Thilo Bayer   {K:50301} 9/20/2004

arwa abdullah   {K:34425} 9/25/2004
very well controlled selective focusing -guess its on the rock on the right side- which gives depth and make the stream look bigger
good use of DOF
Thanx for your comment on my image :)

Very nice angle! You feel like swimming here ... perhaps I?d prefer to crop a bit more at the bottom - anyhow, great work!

Dave Stacey   {K:115320} 9/29/2004
Great perspective here, I like how you've done that, plus the effect of the slow shutter speed.
Thanks for your recent comments!
Dave.

Great photo, Paul. Love the low vantage point. I wonder how that would be in B&W?? Thanks for the comment. Where are you living in Md? I'm in Ellicott City. Regards, Lou

Did you lay in the stream to get this? I like the motion of the water, puts me at peace. Too bad there can be no sound with pictures. Very nice Paul as always.

Paul's Photos   {K:34954} 7/3/2005
