Another Otley Chevin view, this time facing away from all the rocks up there.
I saw the old couple and a pair of girls with the dogs and it looked a bit like a typical saturday afternoon up there - people out for a walk and ecrcise the dogs.
Photoshopped quite a bit again, started adding 2 Levels layers - one making things really dark, the other really light, then masking the whole lot of each out. Then you can add bits of each layer using the paint brush in the mask 0- it's just dodge and burn, but you're not changing the actual pixels, just a mask.....
so I darkened the clouds, made the people into silhouettes and made the grass at the bottom left a bit darker to contrast to the lighter middle bottom.
After that, added a sharpen layer using the high pass filter then eventually decided to greyscale using a channel mixer layer - the green set to 200 with red and blue in the negative njumbers somewhere....
it's a striking sky if nowt else!
