I think what you tried could result in a great thing, I mean the heavy grain. But there is one thing, you totally lose the sharpness on Jessie, and that is something important.
Still good view, whit the heavy grain you manage to gather horizon and sky very nicely (or is it just the heavy pollution).

ìnice also the grainy..
but if you want use to a digradant filter the sky and the panoiram is many balanced!

Well... it is a bit grainy and i can't tell if the focus is in on the subject or not. It is a great idea, however!
