About	The palio is not just a horses race preceded by a historical procession (today as in the Middle Ages), but it's also the most important event you can see in siena during the year, it lets you see how crazy are the people there ;-) , in this series I'll try to spot light this amazing event. This photo 4 an italian man waiting with suspense the distribution of the horses, coz not all of the horses are good , and every group get his horse just four days before the race. ( u should be there 2 see the real mania of the italians when they get a strong famous horses )

Hello Omar,
I like Palio very much. As you wrote it's not a race. It's omething more, it's something that touch the hearth and the soul of Siena citizen.
It's difficult to be understood if you don't live in Siena for some time.
This picture reflects exactly the mood of the people during the Palio. Very nice!!

I've gone around in your portfolio. Very interesting, first of all the portraits like this. Expression very intensive. I was been in Siena but I did'nt see the Palio, but I think that your shot is very representative of the atmosphere!
