Dear Maja,
nice candid portrait. the toning is very good and I like the polaroid look. I'm not sure about the format here as the background is just hinted and don't serve any purpose. maybe a more upright format would fit in better, but that's just an idea ;-)

You captured her curiosity very well, Maja. It can be seen in her eyes and in her whole expression. You managed to arouse my curiosity too: what were you trying to take a photo of when the girl stole the show?

Thank you for the comment.This picture was taken months ago.Warm summer,balcony,coffee,cold juice and my camera.I was just sitting and looking for some photo subjects.I took couple photos of threes,birds..and then kids came out. :)
Is that what you asked for?

Hi..
"disagree" it's not the appropriate word but it defines my opinion about the presentation and not the photo itself. I like polaroid style but the title inside the frame written in a very common and "amateur" font, not at all. Such mysterious photos, in my opinion, should be let be free to lead the eye and the mind of the ones who look at it, to higher states of understanding. And the titles that present the Obvious does not help. You can use titles (maybe handwritten) but not in such ways. Many great photographers used sometimes text in their photographs but that was different because behind that a whole concept was well structured. I hope i expressed what i really believe. Bye, Aris.

I really like this shot. If there is a nit its the focus. to me it looks like her shirt sleeve on the right arm is sharper than her face. But thats just my old eyes looking at it. Other than that I really like the expression and tonal range

I think i will disagree here as well Maja, but not with you, i would disagree with lots of comments in here. I like the background, and i don't think the leaves are distracting, i think in the contrary bring the attention to the lovely background, i don't think the font is a problem at all, after all this picture is not made for commercial reason, if it is made for a magazine then you can customize the color of the font and the font it self, i like it as it is. The last thing, i like the title, and i also disagree about not mentioning the title, as simply when you name curiosity, i know what i am looking for, if you said sadness, it might apply, if you said she is lost, i might see her looking for direction, or even sad, so i like the name is well, 7 my dear, regards,

Hello Maja! Sorry I have been away for so long, I have really had so much to do and that's why I "disappeared" for a while.
What a great photo of this curious girl! Very interesting and very beautiful! Nice mystical feeling. Gives a little bit of feeling that she is lost in a forest and something/someone is looking at her from up in a tree.

This is a very nice and somewhat sophisticated composition. I like the subject's direct gaze and expression. I think the sharpest focus just missed the face and was on the shirt instead. The exposure is dead on and the muted background really directs attention to the subject.
