the idea is reallynice. Results are not so bad.
Some details for the improvement: try to use some reflector to get catchlight in the eyes. That way they outstand more.
The right shoulder looks too big comparing to other one, and to the rest of bod. The position of shoulder you can leav the same, but try to look for some different angle of view, to not to get that deformation.
The cigarette adds the mood to the picture.

Hi Gertrud,
It is good idea and excellent choice for B&W,but I think she is too far from magazine.
For me,it would be better that she acting like reading magazine without cigarete.Magazine is not neccesery in this situation when she is just posing for you with cigarete.Understand what I mean? :)
In one situation you could capture only her in smoking posing, or in other situation you could capture her in reading posing.
That is why I think that showed situation is in conflict.
