Yanno, John it's getting so I can recognize your images before "seeing" them... which means you're developing a style... that's awesoming. I love this picture. The framing is great... and the pose is awesome.
To get a little picky I might have tried to take this picture from a lower angle. Now, this might not be possible due to background or where you were to take this picture, but a lower aspect might allow the viewer to connect more to the child.
Just a thought.

I was on a hill where I shot this and the sky was a little bright which would have been a problem with trying to get any detail in the face.
