Thanks George. I was getting kind of discouraged about this image because nobody showed much interest in it. Glad to get some positive feedback. It took me 15 min to find a decent angle and needed a tripod too.

Yes, Omar, it is disappointing to have what you consider a good shot pretty much ignored by other viewers. I empathized immediately when I saw the thumbnail of your shot because of my similar experiences. Unless it's a classic landscape vista, most people seem to prefer very uncomplicated compositions. I, for one, like complex, layered images. That's what we mean by taste, I suppose.

Stephen,
I spent 16 days travelling all around Japan this summer and took about 30 rolls of film. It was a beautiful trip.
I hope to go back again soon!
