fall is coming ;-)
nice treatment of the trees. very colorful and high contrasts between the foreground, the wood and the sky. I would think about a slightly different cropping as the tree is not promiment enough for me =) I think you may sacrifice parts of the sky for that purpose. just an idea =)

Have you added any lighting effect? Or it was natural sun lighting? The red tree and the grass are with awesome saturated colors!

Hi Jan, superb colours, but it looks a bit too dark. Just a wee bit, especially in the trees in the background. (I know, that part would still be a dark area, but I'd love to see some more details and contrast in that one. I'm sure the image lost alot of quality, but it might also be a bit of a timing issue. Obviously, I don't know in what direction you shot this one, nor at what time of day, but having some sunlight striking the treeline would've added an extra dimension to this shot.

I like the red of the rad trees on meh background of the dark ones, the line of trees sloping to the right and the small dots of ligght yellow freated by the grass undernath.

great image of this small group of trees, great color, and timing with the field being lit, and background in shadow. your imagery is so well timed and wonderfuly composed... i have to ask though, any post work on this image? or just scanned and posted? cause you have a great eye, just wondering, i know scanning in the negs from the velvia can get pricy...
