the most appealing future of this image is the contrast between the cold blue shades and the lonely spot of red!! Nice composition love the centering it makes the image unique

Great image. I too like the layered mountains. It appears that each layer has just a shade difference in color. Very nice. I like the centering of the gondola too. Were you riding in another car to capture this image? John

thanks John, no I wasn't in the car :)
I was in the plan de l'aigulle, on the middle - about 2317 m. The cable car goes feom chamonix little town below Mt.blanc stop at this area, then goes again to aigulle du midi (3842m).
